Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using Filmatch ("the app"). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Filmatch.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Filmatch. By using the app you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account. You may delete your account at any time from the Settings screen, or via our Account Deletion page.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Filmatch for your own non-commercial enjoyment, subject to these Terms.
Filmatch includes features (such as Party Mode and partner pairing) that let you interact with other people. There is zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour. You agree not to:
You can report objectionable content or block an abusive user at any time from within the app. We review every report and will remove offending content and eject abusive users within 24 hours.
Filmatch offers an optional one-time "Remove Ads" purchase. Payments are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play and are subject to their terms. Purchases are non-refundable except where required by law or the applicable store's policies. You can restore a previous purchase from the Settings screen.
Film information, images, and metadata are provided by The Movie Database (TMDB). Filmatch is not endorsed or certified by TMDB. Availability of streaming providers is provided for convenience and may not always be accurate.
We may suspend or terminate your access to Filmatch if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that harms other users or the service.
Filmatch is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that film recommendations will suit your taste.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Filmatch and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
